He did a great job of delivering me so many samples to pick from and once I made a decision was so quick to schedule the install. Fixed the annoyingly-creaky hardwood floors in our condo. I mean, they were super loud. Fastened flooring to joists with wood screws, filled drill holes with matching putty, and polyurethaned the spots. Hardly noticeable. Now, no creaking 😀. Marteen and Joel were great! Michael, too. If you have any hesitation whatsoever about using Damon at Final Measure for your flooring needs, let me curb your concern! I employed Final Measure to replace our builder grade carpet in our house that was 16 years old. Damon steered me in a great direction with some high-quality Mohawk silk carpet that was hydrophobic, with dogs in the house this was very important. He also encouraged me to get a quality memory foam pad with an impermeable barrier on top. The feel, texture, and installation was impeccable! From the time I met Damon till the job was complete, I could not have been more pleased! Working with Damon and his crew was very comforting and enjoyable. Here is what sets Damon and Final Measure apart from the other flooring vendors. At no fault of Damon and Final Measure, the order he placed for our Carpet got lost in a new software system that Mohawk had just deployed. On the day, our carpet was supposed to be delivered to Austin, Texas, it was not. Turns out that Mohawk lost the order in the system. Instead of contacting me with an apology, or contacting me to ask if we could delay the install, Damon, without soliciting my opinion, drove his work truck from Austin, Texas all the way to Dalton, Georgia to pick up the carpet. All to keep the carpet installation on schedule and to make the customer happy! Let’s just say I was beyond happy with the entire experience and absolutely happy with the quality of Carpet and the installation! Damon is a standup businessman that stands behind his work and his word. You cannot go wrong with Final Measure for any of your flooring needs!

It has been about a year since Floor to Ceiling completed one of many projects for us. (We first used them in 1997 after a fire that gutted our home.) Over a handful of years we did many projects with them including a new kitchen, two new baths, installation of decorative paneling in a staircase and garage and the redoing of all of the hardwood flooring in our house, plus adding additional wood flooring. If I could give 10 stars I would. Met Jim at his store in Melbourne to redo an oceanfront condo that was 2050 square ft. We ended up doing much more than originally planned. We had the total floor tiled, crown moldings, new baseboards, new shower tiled, heavy glass doors and mirrors, new master tub and tile, new tub tile in guest bath and heavy glass doors., new cabinets in 1/2 bath and kitchen bar area. I am very impressed.At the start of the project, Nick provided me with measurements, a 3D model of what the finished project would look like, estimated work schedule and cost breakdown that was easy to understand. From start to finish Steamway did an incredible job. We had them come out and first give us a quote on some services we wanted. The two gentleman that came out were extremely helpful and professional. I made things sort of complicated because I wasn't sure everything I wanted done, but they were very very accommodating with my requests. They put together 4 different quotes and had it back to me withing a few hours of them coming out to do the walk thru. Their techs that came out to install the carpet did great work. We were not home at the time of the service, but they left everything in a spotless condition. On a separate day we had them come out and clean another portion of the house. Junge's Flooring is absolutely amazing! At the end of March my world was rocked when I had a pretty catastrophic water leak cause significant damage to my main floor and basement. I immediately called Junge's for advice. They were at my house promptly to get everything measured and then they invited me to their showroom to pick my flooring. I was greeted by Mindy who was absolutely incredible. I was so overwhelmed walking in and seeing so many different options to choose from. She was so great at taking my visions and giving me options to choose from. I was even able to take a few samples home to envision it in my home. After emailing them with my selection I had a quote within 24 hours, flooring arrived a little over a week later and they worked quickly and diligently to fit me into their already very busy installation schedule. Sullivan & Son!My husband and I are believers in supporting local small businesses, and rely on friends, word of mouth, and online reviews. After doing some research, I reached out to several flooring specialists to get quotes for our 40-year old hardwood floors to be sanded and refinished.When I tell you that Sullivan & Son runs their business like a team sport, it was fun to witness it. Kristen Sullivan was quicker than the competitors to greet me online and tell me that she would get me a quote the next day.In this team, Brendan Breen was definitely their star quarterback because he managed the job excellently from beginning to end. He took over where Kristen handed off and called me to talk about floor options. The price quoted was on the mid to high tier, but what stood out was the communication, responsiveness, and quick turnaround time.Right from the start, Brendan was so personable and did not try to sell us. He was very accommodating to our super busy schedules and personally met us at our home after work to give us an estimate. From then on, he kept in touch with us via text, email and phone (rare in the home contracting world). Brendan assembled a duo very quickly and made sure we were 100% happy throughout the process. At one point during the flooring and stair finishing experience, there was a slight mismatch in the work and our expectations. Remodels are never without bumps in the road. We had them put floors in our home a little over 13 years ago. I know part has to do with the laminate we picked out, but I am looking around today and seeing how great our floors still look 13 years later. The only bumps and bruises are from us. We replaced all of the cabinets in our kitchen, two bathrooms, and laundry room. Tony Klima and his staff were incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and worked the entire project from design through installation with meticulous attention to detail. Ed and his co-workers installed the cabinets with absolute precision. In fact, after another company installed a new glass cooktop, the top drawer in the cabinet beneath the cooktop was rendered non-functional due to insufficient clearance beneath the cooktop. Tony reconstructed the drawer, and made sure that it was perfect, so that it is, now, functional. If you need to replace your cabinets, etc., go to Floors of Distinction! They won't render the work complete until everything is perfect!

TLC Floor Center is the best! My husband and I bought a foreclosed home that needed all of the floors redone-sanding/finishing hardwoods and tile/vinyl tiling for kitchen and bathrooms. We spoke with Bob and have had excellent communication with him from day one. Always friendly, returning every call promptly. He came down to evaluate and give us a quote the day we called. We agreed and went to the center to pick out our floors. The hardwoods were done first so they'd have a few days to settle. We weren't living in the home yet and did not get to meet the guys who did the work but they did a beautiful job and the floors are gorgeous! We moved in after this and had the pleasure of meeting Marteen and Joe who installed all of the tile and vinyl tiling. Both friendly and extremely knowledgeable of their work. Also knowledgeable of other areas giving us many recommendations for additional work (not floor-related) needed for our home. Because our house was unoccupied for many years, we already had some problems with the original floors and front entrance. They needed much more work than anticipated. Marteen and Joe went above and beyond working more hours making sure our old floors and entryway were reinforced correctly to meet theirs and our expectations. Five years ago, Floors of Distinction installed our new bathroom tile. Last month, the floor between the toilet and shower was dry but the baseboard was wet and turned brown. Plumber thought shower pan had cracked. So I call Tony at F of D and he came over later that day. He concluded that the seal under the toilet was broken. Ed came the next day and removed the toilet and baseboard. The seal was broken. He came back two days later after it dried out and reinstalled toilet and new baseboard. McKean's Floor to Ceiling recently installed new laminate countertops in our 1971 home. It's not easy to find companies that will do this. Brent was our sales rep, Amanda handled the customer service. I highly recommend McKean's! Our countertop has a weird teardrop shaped extension for the table (goofy 1970's idea) so it was not a standard shape. Stone or solid surface would have been astronomical with this strange setup. I contacted Melbourne Beach Flooring for an estimate because my neighbor recommended them. They gave us a fair estimate so we asked them to complete the removal of carpet in our loft and bedroom and replace with a vinyl product called Coretec. They removed all our old builder grade carpet and replaced with a hickory colored vinyl floor, including the stairs. It turned out beautiful! I know that it was somewhat of a challenge to the color differences of the hickory colored product. They were at our house when they said they would be and finished the job when they said they would. I would highly recommend them.

Each time we liked possible selections at the other location she gave us quotes.....a lot of quotes.... She was very kind and did not show frustration with each new request. When it came to deciding the layout from the slab, David who handles the fabrication worked with us to pick the best layout. At the time of install, the team showed up on time, was very kind and was done with the job quickly. They were careful with our home and cabinets when completing the install. The install crew was very professional and did multiple layers of smoothing material to make the floor nice and level. I've been working with Junge's flooring for about 6 months now (primarily Kaity) and have had great service. I'm working on a diy bathroom remodel and have been purchasing 90% of my product through them. Through price checking, I find them to be the same as a big box stores but have 10 times the customer experience. Even though I have not hired them for labor, they were still very patient with me and helped me avoid possible issues by asking me questions about my project. Something you would NOT get at HD.Avoid the big box stores, keep your money local and get great service from Junge's flooring!

I feel the need to post this review! I have had MAJOR work done in my house for well over a month. I had my ceiling collapse with a ton of underlying issues. I have had 5 separate contractors to address the multitude of issues in my house. Every one of them with the exception of Sullivan and Son’s wood crew was very uncaring of the fact they were working in my home.The crews were dirty and never cleaned up after themselves. However, Sullivan’s crew was amazing and to be very clear, they had more dirty work then anyone else coming into my house and yet they left with my house cleaner then even after I myself would clean.I find this to be very professional and respectful. When someone’s home is tuned upside down it doesn’t help contractors can make it worse. A big Thank you to the Sullivan and Son crew, I would recommend their work, their friendliness and professionalism to everyone needing work done in their home.

We had 2 site surveys from local businesses to determine the best, most cost effective, and best esthethic course of action to replace original 12 year old carpet. Unlike the 1st site survey, Kyle Sneed advised he could match our existing hardwood floors. After much discussion and 2 visits by Kyle (manager), we opted for a composite flooring throughout the entire first floor which closely matched the hardwood. Installation was successfully completed in 2 days by Fulvie and Louie; professional, personable, and hard working employees. Make sure you or your contractor goes over the material list before they order. I was shorted styles and did not get corner round or shoe mold my contractor said was supposed to come with. I had to leave work early to go to the lumber yard to get them, and a matching stain. Thankfully I found a perfect match to my cabinets. Yes they offered to order them but I only had my contractor for the time it was supposed to take without this delay. It set my contractor back one day as well because he had to come back making him late to his next kitchen remodel.The people them self are great. If not for the missing material it was a 10 for there great personality and willingness to help us.

Floor to Ceiling was very helpful when other contractors were blowing us off because our initial project wasn't big enough. This is why we did our kitchen remodel with them as well. Their subs were easy to work with and very accommodating and Mindy was very patient with us when making choices, something we struggle with as there are so many options there. They are a very honest company and came back to fix any small issues we had like a squeaky lazy susan. We look forward to doing more projects with them though it may be a while since there are only 2 rooms left.

This past year we had carpet and a floating floor installed by Sullivan & Son Carpet. Words do not describe the fantastic customer service at their store and the outstanding service teams that installed our floorings. The installers wore their masks, professional, extremely helpful, etc. I run out of terms I can use as they were just GREAT. We had an issue with a refrigerator hookup and they went above and beyond to help me solve the issue even though it was outside the scope of their work. I love Floor to Ceiling!! They were amazing from start to finish. This spring we had Floor to Ceiling install wood floors on the main level of our house, finish a big section of our basement, totally gutted and remodeled our kitchen including adding a new window. I walked into their store and didn’t know where to start. I sat down and talked to Jim about what we wanted to do. The first thing he did was tell me I needed to talk with Mindy. Mindy is an awesome person to work with. She is patient and just has an overall great personality. No one on the team ever showed impatience with all my changes and it was completed right on schedule. I thought I knew what I wanted but Mindy was able to guide me to what I really wanted. Our kitchen is absolutely amazing, the basement is so warm and feels like a living space instead of a basement, the wood floors are beautiful. We just walk through our house and can’t believe it is our house. We have some small projects in the future and we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Thank you to the whole crew!!

COVID-shopping with Kristen was AMAZING! Because we are anxious about our newborn getting the coronavirus, Kristen walked us through the store with a live video chat! So, I went to Sullivan where owners Kristen and Brad answered all of my questions and provided extensive knowledge and great advice about carpeting. When you call, they always answer... There's no HOLD MUSIC while you get transferred from department to department looking for a human. They did a FANTASTIC installation, found a wool closeout at an unbelievable price and transformed my Master Bedroom. Barbara, the owner of Contractors Carpet and Flooring reached out to me in regards to her new website that she launched and had asked me to write a review of the services provided to my fiancée and I last winter. I honestly could not think of a better group of people to write my first review for. Barbara and Mark did a phenomenal job assisting us in picking our new floors and paint color for our new home. Being a first time home buyer, things were extremely stressful for us so we just assumed purchasing floors would be similar. So glad we were wrong! I was extremely pleased with the peace of mind that came with how Barbara, Mark, their son Kyle, and their crew operate. We recently had all of the carpeting replaced in our home and Contractor's Carpet and Flooring did a great job. The installers showed up on time and went to work tearing out the old carpeting. They cleaned up the old carpeting, installed the new and we were very happy with the results. We also had the old carpeting replaced with hardwood floors in our Living and Dining rooms and it looks great. Everything was moved back into place and the installers even placed felt tips on the legs of the furniture so the furniture wouldn't scratch the new floors. (We had purchased the felt tips intending to place them on our furniture ourselves so it was beyond what we would have expected). I felt their prices were very reasonable also. Several years ago we also had our Master bathroom remodeled which included enlarging the shower and having a seat built in and New Tiles around the tub and shower as well as a new Back Splash in the kitchen. We were very pleased with the results and would highly recommend them.

Contractors Carpet and Flooring recently ripped out our old flooring and installed new pre-finished hardwood all throughout the downstairs area. I've got to give them credit - We had a tight budget and called around town to find the best price for the particular product we wanted installed.
